Scholarship Benefit For Tel Rhine & Ben Steiger
The Longview Memorial Ranch Scramble & Ranch Broncs would like to celebrate the lives of two cowboys taken too soon. Raising money to help support the future education of young adults through events the lost cowboys would have loved. Please join us at the historical Stampede Ranch west of Longview for an eventful time and day to remember as it is the first-ever event to be held at their rodeo grounds! The cowboys and cowgirls will complete in the ranch scramble on teams of 5, completing the different events of branding, load & tie, head and heal and doctoring. The top 5 teams will come back for a short go where we will Calcutta off the teams and they will determine the winner with the sorting event. Then we will load the chutes with the ranch broncs and buck out the open division which is tour stop #2 for the Bronc Star Tour. Followed by the ladies division sanctioned by the Women's Ranch Bronc Championships where they will be competing for a spot at the Canadian finals held at the Ponoka Stampede! Please view our website and social media for more info and to keep updated on any news. You can purchase your tickets on the website now! $25 for pre-purchased tickets, 12 years & under are FREE! $30 at the gate. It is a cash-only venue as there is no cell service which I know is tough but will be well worth it when you see the view of the mountains from the stands! So please come and join us to celebrate a day of the working cowboys and cowgirls!
ABOUT US
Tel Rhine
Feb 19th 2007 - Sept 17th 2023
Tel was an amazing cowboy for his young age of 16. He was already very skilled at riding, roping and riding ranch broncs. He always seemed beyond his years in how he went about things. This young man will be forever dearly missed as he was "The Good" in life ♥️
Ben Steiger
Dec 5th 1997 - April 5 2014
Ben had a deep passion for rodeo life and bronc riding. Benny was one of a kind, he had lots of "try and not much quit". Ben was very sensitive to the needs of others and always had your back. He is very dearly missed. ♥️
